Select the chair pocket style that best suits your needs and fits your all sizes are one standard price point.

This is my CURVED style. Made especially for a new, hard to fit chair such as the Learniture™ Shape Series or Virco™ Zuma Chair where the back of the chair is ergonomically designed with a curve to it.

Many thanks to Karen G. for allowing me the use of her classroom photos. She chose the Willow fabrics in a variety of all 5 colors that I offer from this print. Please note that the last three photos are actually my value covers, but I wanted to show the colors of fabric available and how they would look on an actual chair pocket.

The chair pocket sizing MUST account for the full curviture of the chair. As such, this makes the overall chair cover larger than many of my standard covers. With the extra width of the chair cover, there was room for the pocket on this chair cover to expand up to 4 inches wider than the width of the chair. It is also an inch taller than my standard pockets I use on other covers to help keep the large volume of school supplies inside the pocket but still allow for easy access.

This custom chair cover feature highest quality fabric and materials. Features include:

* Reinforced top pocket with "collar tape" for shape and stability
* Pleated pocket expands 3-7 inches in extra width and is an inch taller than my standard pocket height
* Curved corners at the top of the chair to blend in more closely to the actual chair shape
* Reinforced / Triple stitched seams
* Professionally finished edges with a bias tape outer layer for extra protection
* Durable, medium duty, machine washable fabric
* Full chair back that reaches down to the seat for added stability. (Other brands only partially cover the back of the chair in a "hook" style. The "hook" style is easily knocked off the chair.)

If these chair covers get dirty, simply throw them in the washer and lay flat to dry!

Or, if you would rather, simply spray covers with Scotch Guard or similar spray and spot clean as needed...

I designed my original kindergarten chair covers for my son's teacher a few years ago. Her chair pockets were straight pieces of fabric folded up at the end for a pocket. They were falling apart at the seams, and the fabric was ripping on the sides. The classroom was small and space was a premium. I borrowed a chair for sizing and created my first expandable pocket chair cover. That replacement cover turned into an entire classroom of new chair pocket covers!

Select from my different IN STOCK fabrics*. My chair covers are available in two types of printed duck cloth and depends upon the color you select: 7 ounce duck cloth or 8 ounce "slub" duck cloth. (They type of duck is pre-determined by the manufacturer.)

Standard duck cloth is a tightly woven, durable fabric. "Slub" duck cloth fabric is slightly thicker, gives the appearance of linen, and usually shows lines or striations in the pattern.

All fabrics are premium quality, medium duty fabrics. These fabrics feature a special screen print technique on 100% cotton fabric and is made by Premier Prints™. These are the same fabrics that many name brand designers use on upholstery products and in pillows.

All of my pockets are expandable. This means that the pocket is larger than the seat back width. Other sellers simply make a one piece cover (that is easy to make) and want you to purchase an overpsized product in order for items to fit in the pockets. This makes the chair pocket sag and look sloppy.

My styles are priced based upon the amount of materials required to make the product and the time to sew it up.

VALUE STYLE -- My most economical and popular pocket style. This pleated pocket features a 3" expansion. This size works well for teacher who plan to keep a few folders and books at the student desk.

VALUE PLUS STYLE -- This is the style that was pictured and features a 4" expansion. This size is shown in the pictures.

TABLESS DELUXE -- This pleated pocket style features a 5" expansion. This style is recommended for teachers who plan to use student binders or thick books regularly at the desk.

DELUXE -- This pleated pocket style features a 5" expansion and adds velcro™ tabs on either side for adjustment.

PREMIUM -- This is my original pocket style and features a 7" expansion. It is also gathered at the bottom and has a heavy duty elastic band at the top. I recommend this pocket for teachers who plan to keep a lot of materials, including supply boxes, in the pockets.

The chair pocket shown was 19 inches wide by 17 inches tall. PLEASE MEASURE THE FULL WIDTH OF YOUR CHAIR. You will need to use a tape measure and follow the outside contour (curve) of the chair. This is the (W) width only. Be sure to add the thickness as well to this number.

Measure the width (W) of your chair back at the widest part. Measure the thickness (TH) of the chair back. Add these two numbers together to get the total width that you need for your cover. If in doubt or the number is close, choose the larger size.

(TW) = (W) + (TH)

Add embroidery to your chair pocket! Select your favorite embroidery alphabet font and color from the choices pictured. I set up EACH name or word to be embroidered using embroidery software to ensure the best design possible. Larger words or names will be smaller in size due to width restrictions. I try to embroidery as large as possible, with lettering up to 2.5" tall.

There is a $7.50 charge for each item embroidered. That cost covers the thread, set up, and fabric stabilizer on the back of the embroidery to ensure a good design.

For more information on embroidery and to see samples, please visit this link to my website:

I recommend selecting two CONTRASTING colors for the chair pocket and embroidery thread. You will need to select the fabric used for your chair pocket and the thread color of the name to be embroidered. I have thread to match every color shown in the chevron chair pockets. Be certain to include these two selections in the NOTES section of your order at time of purchase to avoid delay in processing.

I also offer a two-color fabric chair pocket at no extra charge. You can select one fabric for the back of the chair and the other fabric for the pocket. This tends to look best when the embroidery thread matches the color of the pocket. (IF you want this option, simply add this information along with your other choices above for the NOTES section.)

Each embroidered name is digitized to get the name as large as possible on the chair pocket up to 7 inches wide. (The longer the name, the smaller the size font will be.)

To see all of the letters in each font, here is a link to the embroidery software that I use. Simply click on the alphabet that you are interested in (I have not purchased all of the alphabets and only have the ones that are listed in my picture):

No, not every chair is the same size. I get it. While I do stock some "standard" chair pockets that will fit many basic chair styles, I understand they will not work for everyone. Here is a great example where I have worked with my customer to develop an item that is specifically suitable for them. Don't just settle for something if it really doesn't work. You work hard for your money, and you should expect a product that works makes you happy.
Here at CoffeeKidsNDolls, I brew happiness one stitch at a time...
